Inaugurated in 2019, the Maison du Recyclage is an educational, reception and exhibition space which welcomes all stakeholders and promoters of recycling, whether they are pupils, students, elected officials and technicians from local authorities, user associations , journalists, managers of eco-organizations, industrialists, etc.
Better understand… and act to protect the environment and preserve resources
For more than 130 years, Maison SCHROLL has promoted waste recycling in Alsace. By creating the Maison du Recyclage, the SCHROLL Group has equipped itself with a communication tool intended to inform professionals and citizens on the many subjects linked to recycling and the environment.
Built on the site of the ALTEM household waste sorting center, the Maison du Recyclage has:
- an educational space dedicated to visits to the sorting center
- a meeting space dedicated to thematic actions linked to the environment.
Towards a logic of partnerships
The SCHROLL Group establishes partnerships with associations specializing in the promotion and awareness of environmental themes (such as the ARIENA association for example). In their journey of discovery, these associations have the opportunity to delve deeper into the theme of waste sorting. The Maison du Recyclage provides them with a place and tools providing a particularly concrete vision around the themes of sorting and recycling.
