Recovery through reuse

A valuable network of partners

At the first level in the hierarchy of recovery methods, certain objects collected by the SCHROLL Group are in good enough condition to be able to be reused as is, reworked or repaired. To offer a new life to new unsold or lightly used objects, furniture, books and materials of all kinds, partnerships have been established with associations and specialized organizations in order to encourage and support this type of initiative.

The Bank of the Object

The Banque de l'Objet is a non-profit association created in January 2014, which offers a solution for the solidarity reuse of new or lightly used objects, unsold or with minor defects. As part of its partnership with the Banque de l'Objet, the SCHROLL Group offers a solution for the disposal of new, unsold or lightly used non-food items. Donors thus contribute to the circular economy, provide help to people in precarious situations, fight against the production of waste and waste and develop local reuse!

PARACHUTE ASSOCIATION

PARAChutes, founded in 2025, is a non-profit organization dedicated to wood reuse. It collects wood scraps and waste from local stakeholders and organizes introductory reuse workshops for communities and associations. PARAChutes offers a shared wood workshop space and a materials recycling center for its members. The association also offers furniture makeover and custom layout services for professionals and individuals, and organizes events such as open days, conferences, and presentations by local artisans.

The SCHROLL Group supports this innovative association, sharing common values ​​around the circular economy and environmental preservation.

Eco Locker Room

The first solidarity recycling of sports equipment in the Grand Est benefits from the provision of containers from the SCHROLL Group, which are installed in certain specialized companies in order to recover unsold or used equipment which can still be used. The material is then sold in the store of this eco-responsible company.

Books and you

Located in Bouxwiller, in the north of Alsace, the “Des livres et vous” association collects, sorts, repackages and redistributes books. The SCHROLL Group supports the association in its actions, recycles and recycles books at the end of their life.
