The SCHROLL Group offers in Alsace, Lorraine and Territoire de Belfort, an innovative alternative to landfilling, thanks to the energy recovery of residual waste.
This is waste which cannot, after sorting, reach the recovery circuits through reuse, material recovery or biological recovery.
It is the transformation of waste into fuel and energy. To recover residual waste, the SCHROLL Group, via its subsidiary B+S Recyclage, manufactures Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF). These CSRs supply energy production units. The first customer is the B+T Énergie factory in Chalampé, the aim of which is to supply the Alsachemin industry with energy. In 2021, the Alsachimie factory in Chalampé is mainly powered by gas, a fossil energy. Ultimately, 1/3 of its energy needs will be covered using this new fuel, made from prepared waste. The energy recovery of residual waste helps to limit the use of fossil fuels.

The independent and family groups B+T (German group) and SCHROLL combine their respective skills in energy recovery, collection, treatment and recycling of waste thanks to their joint company: B+S Recyclage, specialized in the manufacture of CSR . This means 100 tonnes of CSR will be produced each year!
